For Florida people from Buffalo: Mark Pysyk will not grab your eye, but can be very solid. His adv stats are great, but may be a little misleading. No thunderous body checks, but plays well along the boards, makes good passes and doesn't make egregious errors. I had him slotted in as a 4-5 defenseman with potential to move to a solid 3-4. I don't think he has what it takes to be top pairing, but this was his first real year of play so time will tell.

What did yall think of Kulikov? Happy to see him gone or mixed emotions? Stengths? Weaknesses are giveaways from what I understand...

You seem to think that every team in hockey 'improves' their roster every year....but that is not reality. The Panthers are a young team and should improve based on that alone. A number of their players are in the growth phase of their careers. I don't think either of these trades, especially considering the acquisition of Yandle, will negatively affect this team.

Secondly.....a rabid group of fans doesn't fill 2/3 of their building in the playoffs. I know you keep trying to sell us on your market, you should just be ok with what you really are....a small market team with a very small following. Nothing to be ashamed about.

Absolutely.

That Jagr kid should be much better this year after the experience of a playoff appearance and another summer of feasting on 18 yr old Czech models.

He's a great prospect.

I've thought this for years, man. Glad you said it. I'm a Hawks fan, but more so, I'm a fan of the game and so I like a number of different teams for various reasons: players, style of play, historical, etc.

One of the teams I like is the Panthers. I think their fans in Florida should embrace the following they have. There seems to always be a "Napoleon syndrome" in regards to the attendance because it is low. It doesn't matter. If you like the team, support them and enjoy the product on the ice and what you have--regardless of how many people are going out. All that matters is you like it.

Panther win 2 very good trades (fleeced Van statistically and broke even with Buf, if you consider the players drafted) for their team, bringing in 2 Advanced stat darlings, and the natives are restless?? Florida hockey

Well put. I think one glaring problem is how damn big the arena is. Some teams, who know they aren't going to sell out nightly like the major market teams, have much smaller arenas. Panthers should have done the same, but they want the seats for concerts, etc. If it was a smaller, 15k seat arena, it wouldn't look so empty, and would look far more impressive. It is a smaller fan base, so why have one of the larger arenas!

Sometimes teams are too clever for their own good. Florida was on the right path and then tossed Tallon to the side. Time will tell for the Panthers.

Yes and no, there's just not that many roster spots, and I guess he didn't impress enough when given the chances. Bit curious, though, considering we moved Grimaldi. But, we still have more guys, even not counting this years picks, so maybe just a pinching of the roster; hoping some fresher blood produces more than he did.

Absolutely retarded that we let him go but keep garbage on the team like Shaw, Wilson, and Thornton.

I am 100% convinced that you don't even know where Miami and/or West Palm Beach are. You're talking about an 80-mile chunk of the state.
